Accreditation 
The program of study leading to the B.S. in Computer Engineering (BSCpE) is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET (http://www.abet.org).  

ABET Program Educational Objectives 
The objectives of the BSCpE program are to produce graduates who: 

  1. will be employed in the computer engineering profession or continue with graduate education. 
  2. will demonstrate teamwork and leadership skills in solving interdisciplinary problems. 
  3. will be active in their communities and professional societies. 
  4. will enhance their professional development through life-long learning. 

ABET Student Outcomes 
The student outcomes, measured in terms of the knowledge and skills the graduates of the BSCpE program are expected to demonstrate at graduation are: 

  1. an ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics ; 
  2. an ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors
  3. an ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences; 
  4. an ability to recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts;
