Dr. Devdas Pai 

Dr. Devdas Pai, Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, has been awarded Fellow Status in the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering. AIMBE’s College of Fellows is comprised of around 1,500 individuals who have made significant contributions to the medical and biological engineering community in academia, industry, government and education.

Dr. Luster-Teasley Dr. Stephanie Luster-Teasley, associate professor with a joint appointment in the departments of Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering, won the ASEE Environmental Engineering Division’s Best Paper Award "Making the Case: Adding Case Studies to an Environmental Engineering Laboratory to Increase Student Engagement, Learning, and Data Analysis."

Dr. Salil Desai, associate professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering was recently awarded the distinguished Chao and Trigger Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Outstanding Mid-Career Teaching Award by the American Society for Engineering Education in the manufacturing engineering division.

The award, which will be conveyed June 27, honors local campus representatives who have achieved excellence in their roles as supporters of the Society.
