Free Intel Summer Camp at NC A&T State University 2016


WHAT: Hardware/Software Co-Design Two Week Summer Camp
WHEN:  Two Sessions, Monday –Friday 8:30 am-5 pm (choose one):
       Session I: July 11 – July 22
       Session II: July 25 - August 5

COST:  FREE, however space is limited!

The College of Engineering at N.C. A&T will host two two-week sessions of computer camp for students in grades eight through twelve to take place on the N.C. A&T campus at Room 217 Cherry Hall, 1601 East Market Street in Greensboro. Camp begins at 8:30am, and runs through 5pm each day Monday through Friday. The first session is July 11-22, 2016, and the second session is July 25 - August 5, 2016. Space is limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis. The Computer Camps are provided at no cost to participants through sponsorship by Intel Corporation. Parents/guardians must arrange for drop-off and pick-up; no after-camp supervision is available.

College of Engineering faculty will engage attendees in hands-on activities designed to educate them about hardware and software design. Students will be exposed to the thought processes required for engineering and computer programming, and will co-design a hardware/software project while at camp. Sessions will consist of daily small group activities; and will conclude with an end-of-camp presentation for friends and families. Lunch will be provided daily, as will morning and afternoon snacks.
