Bachelor of Science in Business Education with a concentration in Business Teacher Education (BTE)

The Business Teacher Education Concentration provides you with a strong business foundation requiring the same accounting, economics, management, and marketing courses required by all majors in the College of Business and Economics. As a Business Teacher Education student, you will enroll in courses that prepare you to teach business subjects at the middle and high school levels.

This degree is uniquely designed to give you two distinct career opportunities after graduation: (1) you can choose to become a business teacher, or (2) you can use your degree in the corporate arena to become a business manager or corporate trainer. With a strong curriculum experience as well as a solid business foundation, you will be well prepared for the ever changing economy.

Students' matriculation plans are specific to they date they were admitted to the program.

Transfer students should contact the Department Chairperson to determine how their coursework will transfer and which curriculum guide will best match their academic needs.
