Submit a PSA

On-Air Public Service Announcement Policy

Public Service Announcements (PSAs) on WNAA-FM are available to not-for-profit organizations, educational institutions, and governmental agencies.  

Announcements:

  • May be submitted to WNAA-FM up to eight weeks in advance, but a minimum of two weeks is required
  • Must be in written or printed form, and may be submitted in person, by mail or via email at wnaacommunity@gmail.com or by visiting www.wnaafm.com (NO FAXES please)
  • Must include the contact person’s name and phone number plus email address
  • Will be edited for time and station policy
  • May not promote any commercial businesses
  • Third-party financial support for organizations or agencies will not be acknowledged in the PSA
  • May be limited to one per 30-day period when the station has a large number of PSA submissions

WNAA makes no promise or guarantees to air all PSAs received. In addition, there is not a specific number of times, or frequency of airing promised.

Organizations requesting a specific schedule of broadcast times and days, must purchase underwriting time. Printed underwriting information is available by calling 336-334-7936.

Community Calendar Policy

The following event announcements cannot be produced as PSAs, but can be listed in the online Community Calendar:

  • Rallies/Demonstrations
  • Benefits or celebrations for individuals
  • Religious services (e.g. bible study, revival, vacation bible school)
