The backbone of North Carolina is its families. Cooperative Extension targets programs to help families overcome the challenges they face.

Finance programs help families manage their money to pay off debts, and to build and safeguard assets.

Nutrition programs teach families to eat healthy to prevent chronic diseases and to make food choices that stretch food dollars to prevent hunger.

Human development and family life programs are created to ensure positive outcomes for individuals and families. Parenting and family relationship programs are created to ensure positive family relationships.
