CLAIMING N.C. RESIDENCY

If you are claiming to be a North Carolina resident for tuition purposes, you must complete the Residency Determination Service (RDS) interview process and provide the Admissions office with their Residency Certification Number (RCN) from RDS.

NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION

Congratulations on your acceptance to N.C. A&T State University! New Student Orientation (NSO) is mandatory for all newly admitted students. Orientation begins prior to the fall semester. During orientation, you will receive information about academic requirements and expectations, campus resources, student services, meet with an academic advisor and register for courses.

COMPLETE FAFSA NOW

Need financial assistance to fund your college education? Start by completing the 2019-2020 FAFSA now. Be sure to include N.C. A&T school code #002905. You and parent(s) must request a Federal Student Aid ID to electronically sign the FAFSA. A Renewal FAFSA must be completed each academic year. THE SCHOLARSHIP HUNT

Searching for assistance to help pay for college can be overwhelming. We can help ease some of the stress. Visit the sites below to get started on your scholarship search.

 

IMMUNIZATIONS REQUIRED

By North Carolina law, students must complete the new student immunizations requirements in order to become an enrolled student for fall 2018. For more information, contact the Student Health Center at 336-334-7880 or find out what immunizations are needed prior to New Student Orientation by visiting the Student Health Center's website.

 

APPLY FOR HOUSING

Interested in living on campus? The 2019-20 Housing Application process begins after you submit your Intent to Enroll. To apply for on-campus housing, you must complete the FASFA, register for at least 12 credit hours, complete the housing application and pay the $175 processing fee. Students will select housing after you complete New Student Orientation.

Note: Spring 2019 students will be assigned housing based on space availability.

PRE-PLANNING FOR BALANCE

There are options to paying your bill(s). Set-up a payment plan. Choose between a four- or five-month plan. You may also pay in person with cash, money order or certified check. Additionally, your bill(s) can be paid online via an electronic check or credit card. In order for your parent(s) to pay online, you must authorize him/her/them as a user. For details, visit the N.C.
