Course
Description:
Review
of basic Algebra; first and second degree equations; polynomial and rational
functions; systems of equations; right triangle
trigonometry; and trigonometric identities and equations.
Objectives:
1.To fill gaps and/or to reinforce
and strengthen skills in algebra and trigonometry;
2. To prepare students for calculus (non scientific majors) and elementary
statistics;

21. Evaluate a factorial notation. |
22. Convert from degree measure to radian and vice versa. |

23. Find the exact value of the six trigonometric functions of 0, 30, 45, 60,180 and 360 degrees. |
24. Solve right Triangles. |

25. Prove trigonometric identities. |
26. Solve trigonometric equations. |

27. Convert from exponential form to logarithmic form and vice versa. |
28. Evaluate exponential and logarithmic expressions. |

Make-up
exams:
If you miss
a scheduled test with a University excused absence, your final
exam grade can replace your missed test grade.
Extra Credit:
Needed
extra credits will be determined from your homework/quiz scores.
Late Work:
Homework
must be submitted on time. Extensions can only be given for technical problems.
You need to check daily to know due dates on homeworks.
Class Attendance:
Required
and roll will be taken four times a week.
