The independent and self-instructional courses
listed below are designed for all personnel (EPA and Non-Federal employees of
Regional, State and Local Government Air Quality Programs; Industry Employees
and School Teachers) who desire Continuing Education Units (CEU's) in air
quality to broaden their knowledge of earth and environmental science.

| SI 300 | Air Pollution Toxicology | 1 CEU | $70.00 |
| Topics covered will include air pollution history, sources, classifications, regulations, and symptoms of exposure and health effects. | |||
| SI 409 | Air Pollution Meteorology | 2.5 CEU's | $175.00 |
| Topics covered will include types of air quality models, regulatory air quality programs, turbulence, wind speed and direction, and meteorological instrumentation. | |||
| SI 422 | Air Pollution Control Orientation | 3 CEU's | $210.00 |
| Topics covered will include effects of air pollution on health and welfare, air quality management, standards and regulations, sampling and analysis of air pollutants. | |||
An Air Pollution Training Institute (APTI) Certificate and CEU's will be awarded to students who successfully score 70% or higher on the examination. The examination will be administered by the Waste Management Institute of North Carolina A&T State University. The CEU's will be awarded by the Office of Continuing Studies of North Carolina A&T State University.
