The father of Minnie Battle Mayes, Director of the Office of International Programs, passed away on Friday, November 13th. Funeral services for her father, Mr. Jethro Battle, will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at noon at Hargett Funeral Home, 905 E. Market Street. Visitation will be from 11:30-12:00 before the service.

Mr. Elbert Frye, of Charlotte, NC, youngest brother of Justice Henry E. Frye, Visiting Professor, in the Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2009. A memorial service has been scheduled for Saturday, November 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the Jinwright Funeral Home Chapel in Pineville, North Carolina, with visitation at 12:30 p.m.

Alfred Marshall "Pete" Bost, 80, of 10 Crawford Court formally of Bothwell Ct. passed away November 1, 2009. He was a retired chef from the University with over 50 years of service.

Paul Murdock, known fondly to most as "Murdock", departed this life on Saturday, October 24, 2009.Due to his love for his alma mater and Aggie Athletics, Murdock took photographs of A&T athletes and special events for over 40 years. His family members mentioned, "Even those who never knew him personally, knew about 'the guy on a cane with a crutch who was always taking pictures under the field goal' at every A&T home game!" Chancellor Harold Martin's father, Mr. Richard H. Martin, 85, of Winston-Salem, NC, died on October 12, 2009.
