The Banner system is a state-of-the-art web-based computing system. It is based upon proven and scalable technologies and has been successfully implemented in many colleges and universities worldwide. What this means for individuals is simplified information access and management capabilities from both easy-to-use PC desktop software and the World Wide Web. What it means for the institution is a homogenous administrative computing system that addresses our current and long term needs.
Training on the various Banner functions is available to all faculty/staff. Registration is required to attend Banner training.

Blackboard training is designed to provide hands-on experience with using Blackboard as a course management tool. Blackboard workshops are offered several times throughout the semester. We provide year-round computer training for faculty and staff. The training provides instructor-led training on various software packages that include but are not exclusive to desktop products such as Windows XP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Lotus Notes, desktop publishing, and customized computer applications. DoIT is proud to introduce our new online training resource in partnership with Element K. This internet-based solution delivers training right to your desktop—and offers students, faculty and staff courses that are convenient, easy to access, and easy to use. Element K can help you learn a few new skills or whole new applications. You can even pick up some tips and shortcuts. We are confident that our investment in Element K will pay off with increased job satisfaction and higher productivity! This project is currently being rolled out in phases.
