There are other programs available to assist you if interested, but the targeted age range for

this program is 25 or younger.  We targeted this group because data  (US Census) shows

 there are very few small farmers in this age group who are minorities.

No.  The Cooperative Extension Program at NC A&T State University has ongoing

programs linking beginning and experienced farmers.

Participants will be provided with opportunities to attend training sessions that address business planning, crop production, livestock production, post-harvest handling and processing technologies, and farm management, marketing and planning

                 When you register for the program, your name will be added to a database and you will receive a confirmation email.  You will then be informed of upcoming training sessions, programs and events relative to the skills required of a beginning farmer.
