THE CENTER FOR STUDENT SUCCESS
UNIVERSITY SURVIVAL (FRST 100)

The course provides an introduction to the University environment for freshman students: study skills, career exploration; University policies and procedures, critical thinking and University support services.
A component of the course is the Leadership Development and Success Seminar which is required of all students enrolled in the course and open to the public so all other students at the University can attend. Weekly seminars are conducted by prominent leaders in education, politics, business and industry who emphasize the importance of academic excellence and self-motivation in achieving life career goals.
