12 Credit Rule

Each Student athlete must carry 12 degree hours in order to play and practice.  Students who drop below 12 degree hours at any time during the semester are automatically INELIGIBLE.

24 Hour Rule

To be eligible at the beginning of the fall semester, a student athlete must have completed 24 degree hours in the past calendar year, or completed an average of at least 12 degree hours each semester of attendance at NCATSU.

Degree Percentage/GPA

	Complete 25% of the hours required for the declared degree and have a 1.90 cummulative GPA by the beginning of the 3rd year of college.
	Complete 50% of the hours required for the declared degree and have a 2.00 cummulative GPA by the beginning of the 4th year of college.
	Complete 75% of the hours required for the declared degree and have a 2.00 cummulative GPA by the beginning of the of the 5th year of college.

Major Declaration

All student athletes are required to declare a major by the beginning of their 5th semester.

NCATSU GPA Requirements

Students who do not meet the University GPA requirements will be placed on academic probation for the next semester.
