Faculty Development

       Pre-College Outreach

The pre-college component of the Talent-21 Program is a School-Based Academic Enrichment Program. It is an academically intensive, challenging and enriching segment that involves the Summer Scholars session of the Greensboro Area Math and Science Education Center's (GAMSEC) Saturday program.

80 high school students attend a four-week summer session that supplements the regular school year program to help improve and refine student knowledge, problem solving and analytical skills. This support is provided by individual and group instruction. Students also receive academic development to overcome their prior year weaknesses in math, science, and communication skills.
