The Student Support Services Program has been active at North Carolina A&T State University since 1977. The goal of the Student Support Services Program is to provide supportive services designed to meet the special needs of one hundred seventy-five (175) educationally disadvantaged students relative to their gaining admission to, achieving success in and graduating from North Carolina A&T State University.

We also offer special workshops throughout the academic year and host activities designed to assist students in securing admission and financial assistance for enrollment in graduate and professional schools.
??? Who Qualifies For SSS ???Click Here for ApplicationIn order to qualify for the Student Support Services Program, you must meet the following requirements:
A. Is a citizen or national of the United States, is a permanent resident of the trust territory of the Pacific Islands; or is a permanent resident of the United States,
B. Is enrolled or accepted for enrollment in the next enrollment period at North Carolina A&T State University,
C. Has a need for academic support in order ot successfully pursue a post-secondary educational program; and
D. Is, at the time of initial selection, one of the following:
1. a low-income individual, or
2. a first-generation college student, or
3. physically handicapped.A "low-income individual" means an individual whose family's taxable income meets the financial guidelines of the U.S. Department of Education (our office with assist you with this).
