Study Guide-T1
Thursday, September 25, 2003

You should know that I do not normally provide a study guide for the simple reason that your responsibility as students is to review your material daily and be prepared for tests and similar evaluations without the EXTRA motivation that a professor provides. This is what is referred to as pride. I will nevertheless offer the following to alleviate any undue stress:

1. Maps. Maps. Maps. Geography and topography.

2. You also have a series of essay questions.

2. I will likely ask you to select four or five essay questions from a total of six essay questions. At least one question is mandatory.

3. I will also likely ask that your response include the correct use of concepts found in your readings as part of your response. I assume that you know what you read. At this stage you should now be able to apply what you have read in the form of a well reasoned response.

4. Your questions will mainly come from the following readings

5. Handouts

6. Lectures notes/special assignment(s)

Good preparation (luck is the result of hard work and preparation)!
