* Renewable Energy the Key to Rural Electricity, Environmental Stewardship? ­ An engineer with the North Carolina A&T State University School of Agriculture is searching for a solution to two important energy questions: how to provide electricity to remote areas, and how to provide electricity in an environmentally sensitive way.

* Extension Specialist Advises on Children and Halloween ­ With its ghosts, goblins and candy, Halloween is typically an exciting and intriguing event for young children. And, by keeping some general guidelines in mind, parents can ensure that their child's experience is positive and safe, says a 4-H and youth development specialist.

* NC A&T School of Ag Earns Awards at National Symposium ­ Faculty members and students with the North Carolina A&T State University School of Agriculture brought home four awards from the Eleventh Biennial Research Symposium, held in San Antonio.
