Greensboro, NC: The Alpha Tau Alpha honorary society inducted 12 North Carolina A&T State University School of Agriculture students, during a recent awards banquet.


New members inducted into Alpha Tau Alpha are: Katetia Hargrove, Stephanie Fennel, Greg Dungan, Lanise Cardwell, Sean Lynch, Janine Devenport, David Gill, Kenya Goins, Dianna Whitaker, Maha Elobeid, Alexis McClain and Markee Squire.


To qualify for membership in Alpha Tau Alpha, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher and be enrolled in a School of Agriculture program.


"The goal of Alpha Tau Alpha is to promote and advance careers in agriculture and agricultural education," said Dr. Francis Walson, faculty advisor to the organization.
