The Web provides unparalled access to the latest news.  Check the following sites for up-to-the minute national and international news stories.  Most sites are updated throughout the day, so check back frequently for the latest information.

  • CNN Interactive - Check out the CNN site for late-breaking stories from the CNN newsdesk, including video and audio.  The site also contains links to CNN.com Europe and CNN.com Asia, for an international perspective.
  • Other Television Networks - Each of the major networks has its own news Web site, with the latest news available in a variety of formats.

National Newspapers

  • The New York Times on the Web - Comprehensive, national newspaper.  One of the best sources for national and international news on the Web.
  • The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times - Two major national newspapers that provide a wealth of online news, along with east-coast and west-coast perspectives on national and international issues.
  • USAToday - The online version of USAToday.  Provides a quick overview of the day's top stories.
