WebEc

Another useful general economics index, WebEc is an effort to categorize free information in economics on the Web.  Based in Finland and mirrored in the U.S.

The Scout Report for Business and Economics

Published bi-weekly, this site provides links to current information on recently released data, economics-related research, learning resources, and a current economic news topic.  Archives of past issues are also available at the site.

  • The Current Awareness section contains links to current contents of Federal Reserve publications, economic journals, books, and current economic data releases.
  • The New Data section contains links to the most recent economic data reports.
  • The In the News sectioin provides an in-depth look at an economic topic that is currently in the news.

About.com - Economics

About.com provides a variety of resources useful to economics students, including links to data sources, national and international government resources, news, an economic bulletin board and chat room, and weekly reviews of economics in on-line magazines.

YAHOO - Economics

YAHOO, a popular general-purpose site on the Web, has a set of economics links for you to explore.

EDIRC

A large list of economics departments, institutes and research centers from around the world.

Inomics

Inomics was developed as the "Internet site for economists."  The site offers a useful directory and search engine for economics information on the Web.

FINWEB

A valuable listing of Web resources concerning economics and finance-related topics.

Economics Resources (Rutgers University)

Provides a comprehensive listing (with no annotation) of links to economics resources on the Web, arranged in broad groupings.  Contains an extensive list of links to worldwide economic data (see "Data" Resources).
