Program Incentives

As a Teaching Fellow at North Carolina A&T, you can expect to be challenged and motivated to become a dynamic educator, as well as an asset to your community. Here at North Carolina A&T State University we recognize what an honor it is to be awarded the NC Teaching Fellows Scholarship. To that end if you choose to earn your degree at our wonderful University we will provide the following incentives:

  • Additional Scholarship dollars to meet the direct cost of room, board, books and fees.
  • University Honors Program – All incoming freshmen are automatically a member of the University Honors Program
  • Guaranteed Housing – All students are guaranteed residence on campus in program housing, living in single rooms
  • Laptop computers, Dells or Gateways are provided to each student
  • Ipods – Students are provided Ipods and participate in technology workshops designed to instruct students how to use them in the classroom
  • Travel opportunities- Students participate in travel opportunities in and out of state, nationally and internationally
  • Pay for the Praxis I and Praxis II exams
