The Application Process

To change the world become a teacher…….

North Carolina Teaching Fellows Program provides a prestigious scholarship award of $26,000.00 to 500 North Carolina High School Seniors. Recipients must be United States citizen and legal residents of North Carolina. Upon acceptance of the scholarship, and completion of the baccalaureate degree, the fellows agree to teach for four years in one of North Carolina’s Public Schools.

The application may be downloaded online. Students should go to their high school guidance office to discuss the application process with the Teaching Fellow liaison counselor. The packet consists of an application and three reference forms that must be completed and turned in by the application deadline, which is in October.
