| The North Carolina A&T State University School of Education works hand in hand with area schools through the Professional Development School.
A Professional Development School (PDS) is a collaboratively planned and implemented partnership between a university teacher education program and P-12 schools. At A&T, the partnership provides hands-on learning opportunities for student teachers as well as professional development for school and university faculty, and opportunities for research than can improve the quality of education received by all children.
The A&T School of Education sponsors research each year through a mini-grant program that is already bearing results. The following projects have been funded over the past two years.
