Paper-Based Test Registration

Register Online

Register online for Praxis paper-based tests for fastest and most convenient service.

Note: Online registration is not available for Praxis I computer-based tests, test takers with disabilities who require nonstandard testing accommodations, test takers whose primary language is not English, Monday testing or fee waivers.

• Registration is open Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. (EST) and Saturday, 7 a.m. through Sunday, 8 p.m. (EST).
• You must pay by credit card (American Express®, Discover®, JCB®, MasterCard® or Visa®) or debit card.
• You will need a valid e-mail address, mailing address and phone number to register online. Order confirmations and test admission tickets will be e-mailed to your e-mail address.
• You must know which test(s) you will need to take before you register online. Check the Praxis State Requirements section for a list of tests required by certification area.
• If you plan to designate your attending institution and score recipients while registering, see the st (PDF) or the (PDF).
• Review  PDF) concerning test administration, fee payment, and score reporting before you register online.
• Your registration is not complete until you've submitted your payment and accessed your admission ticket. You will need to print your admission ticket. You will not be mailed a paper admission ticket when you register online.
• Occasionally the test center's street address or reporting location is changed just prior to the test date. To obtain the most recent and accurate reporting address information, sign in to your account three days prior to the test to verify the test center's reporting location and reprint your admission ticket. Do not wait until the morning of the test to print your ticket.

The registration process may take 45 minutes to complete. To enable successful processing, your registration order must be completed by 10 p.m. (EST) Monday-Saturday, or by 8 p.m. (EST) Sunday.

Paper-based Testing

Please note: PPST and Teaching Foundations tests are only available on select test dates. Please see below for details.

Note:

1. We must receive your completed registration form and payment by the apropriate date, or you will be charged a $45.00 late fee.
2. Not all test centers are open on all test dates Please refer to the appropriate Test Center List

              (United States and U.S. Territories | Outside the United States).

*PLNE test dates for tests offered in Session 1 and 2.
**Allow 7-10 days for delivery of mail within the continental United States and more time for delivery to other areas.
***U.S. Virgin Islands should adhere to regular registration deadlines.

The PPST tests will only be offered on:

The Teaching Foundations tests will only be offered on:

• November 17, 2007
• March 15, 2008
• June 14, 2008

The following list shows the 2007-2008 testing locations and dates for Praxis paper-based tests offered in the United States and U.S. Territories.

KEY:

A: Test center will offer all or most of the Praxis tests which contain speaking components

B: Test center will offer all or most of the Praxis tests which contain listening components

L: Test center will offer all Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) tests.

P: Test center will offer Pre-Professional Skills Test (PPST).

S: Test center will offer all or most Specialist Area Subject Assessments. LL following a test center listing indicates that the center has language laboratory capabilities for administering foreign language speaking test and their associated Specialty Area/Subject Assessments only.
