Friends of the School of Education

The Friends of the School of Education is a 20-year old support organization. The purpose of the group is “to support and strengthen the School of Education’s mission of developing teachers and other school personnel.”  The Friends organization helps the school by raising funds for scholarships.  Mary Purnell, an A&T graduate, serves as chairperson for the organization that is made up of alumni, retired and active faculty members, administrators, community supporters and public school officials.
