2:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Stallings Ballroom A, Memorial Student Union

Dear Counseling Career Symposium Participants,

Greetings! We are writing to cordially invite you to a very special event on the campus of North Carolina A & T State University. On Thursday, May 1, 2008, the Graduate Counseling Association will be hosting a Counseling Career Symposium. This career fair will be an opportunity for your organization to come and meet not only our current students, but our recent counseling graduates as well. This event is co-hosted by the Rehabilitation Counseling Association, Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society, and the spring 2008 Career Counseling class.

The goal of this career fair is to permit you to speak with students from the Community, Rehabilitation, and School counseling programs and to give students an opportunity to investigate the human services field. If you are interested in recruiting students, interns, part-time workers, or full-time employees, then please make plans to attend this special event. The symposium is scheduled on May 1, 2008 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. During this time, you are invited to bring any recruiting materials you may have and set them up on a table in Stallings Ballroom A in the Memorial Student Union beginning at 1:00 p.m. Immediately following the symposium, there will be a complimentary reception for all participants from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. sponsored by the REMBA Conference.

To participate in this event, please submit the completed application form along with a $25.00 registration fee. This fee will provide registration for up to two individuals from your company as well as snacks, beverages, and door prizes at the event itself. To register, simply complete the attached registration form and return it by April 15, 2008. You will be sent an e-mail confirmation upon receipt of your registration materials.

We hope that you will join us for this event. If you have any questions, please e-mail Dr. Caroline Booth at csbooth@ncat.edu. We hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Caroline S. Booth, Ph.D., NCC, LPC
