School of Education Brick Campaign

The Friends of the School of Education of North Carolina A&T State University, a non –profit support constituency, would like to invite you to become a part of the School of Education’s Memory Walk located at Proctor Hall on the Benbow Road side.

By purchasing a brick paver, Memory Walk participants, such as you, help us succeed in achieving two special goals: raising scholarship funds for our outstanding students and recognizing individuals who have led by example.

Your gift, along with those of other generous friends of the School of Education, will ensure scholarships for current students and future generations of Aggies who need and deserve our support.  Also by taking part, you will ensure the development of the Memory Walk as an important place of recognition for our School‘s alumni, faculty, staff and friends.

North Carolina A&T State University's Rehabilitation Counseling Department is proud to announce the 6th annual Racial and Ethnic Minorities with Behavioral Addictions Conference (REMBA).

The REMBA conference addresses the growing needs of racial and ethnic minorities with alcohol, drug, sex and gambling addictions, criminal offenses, and eating disorders.

The conference is scheduled for April 19-20th, 2012 at the Grandover Resort located in Greensboro, North Carolina. The registration deadline is March 21, 2012. Space is limited so early registration is strongly recommended.

This year we will offer an early registration fee until January 17th, 2012. The early registration fee will be $30.00 for students and $55.00 for professionals. After January 17th, the registration fee will be $40.00 for students and $65.00 for professionals. The registration fee includes a continental breakfast and lunch on Friday, a REMBA conference program, conference bag, pen, and CEUs (NBCC provider) and CRCs for professionals. We apologize that we are unable to accept personal checks or Discover cards for payment. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Calena Creft, via telephone (336) 285-4389, or email at rembaconference2012@gmail.com.

Please see the Call for Proposals and registration form. Thank you for your willingness to make this conference a success and we look forward to seeing you in April!
