Why Should I Major in...?

.. Economics?

As students consider prospective major fields, economics is very frequently overlooked. Why? One reason is that students have relatively little exposure to formal training in economics prior to college. Find out more below about what economics is about, what economists do, and whether economics is the major for you.

... Transportation/Logistics?

Goods and people are moved every day by trucks, buses, airplanes, ships and other means of transportation. In the United States, the transportation industry represents an area of rapid growth and opportunity. Industrial and consulting firms, transportation companies and Federal, state, and local governments all hire Transportation Management graduates. Qualified students are prepared for positions in inventory control, warehouse and materials management, transport service marketing, route development and scheduling, policy analysis and planning, and the management of urban and rural transportation systems.
