B.S. in Business Education Online
The curriculum for the online degree is the same as for the on-campus degree. Only the delivery has changed. All course descriptions remain the same and, in most cases, the courses will be taught by the same professors who teach on campus.
THE CURRICULUM GUIDES
Curriculum guides are available online. There is a curriculum guide for each of the concentrations under business teacher education. Read each guide to determine which is of greatest interest to you. Please note that the Information Technology concentration (non-teaching) is NOT yet available online.
THE COURSES
For specific course information, see our course descriptions. Courses that require classroom work or job placements, such as some science classes, physical education, business work experience, and classroom observations and student teaching, will require special arrangements with institutions/organizations in your local community. Each will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
When a course is not available online through North Carolina A&T State University, you will be assisted in finding a comparable course at another state university or at a local community college (if the course is at the freshman or sophomore level). Only accredited institutions will be used, and proper approvals must be received before the class is taken.
THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Business Education provides quality instruction for the preparation of business teachers and prepares students for computer technology positions in business, government and the professions. Our Goals and Objectives describe what we strive to achieve as students and faculty working together.
THE UNIVERSITY
North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is a public, comprehensive, landgrant University committed to fulfilling its fundamental purposes through exemplary undergraduate and graduate instruction, scholarly and creative research, and effective public service. |
