Will financial aid pay for distance learning classes?
Distance learning students who have been admitted to a degree-seeking program can apply for financial aid. Visit the financial aid website for more information.
How many online classes can I enroll in?
Undergraduate students are allowed to enroll in 12 to 18 semester hours to be designated as full-time students. Graduate students are allowed to enroll in nine (9) hours to be designated as full-time students.
Who do I contact if I have technical problems?
Students may contact the helpdesk by email or by phone (303-873-7400). Students should contact the Center for Distance Learning if they experience problems with online course login issues.
How do I know if I’m enrolled in a course?
Students who have been admitted to the University and have submitted the Distance Learning Agreement Form will be able to access online courses after their bills have been validated and they obtain a valid NC A&T email address. A confirmation email that includes login information will be sent by the Center for Distance Learning. Students who have not received login information at the start of classes should contact the Center for Distance Learning.
Can I participate in both online and campus classes?
Yes, students can enroll in both distance learning and on-campus courses during the course of a semester.
Can I pay for tuition in installments?
Tuition arrangements can be made through the Cashier’s Office (336-334-7721). How do I get my books for my classes?
Distance learning students can access textbook information by visiting the distance learning University bookstore website. Online courses are listed each semester. Distance learning students can purchase textbooks from the campus bookstore by visiting during business hours or by ordering online. Students may print the order form from the University Book Store Website and fax the order into the store. The orders can also be emailed along with credit card information. Students are also allowed to email or fax orders and provide credit card information via the phone. Distance learning students can also purchase school supplies, University paraphernalia, University-related car accessories, and other miscellaneous items. |
