Symposium Overview
The Annual Ronald E. McNair Commemorative Celebration is designed to commemorate the life and accomplishments of the late Dr. Ronald E. McNair, an alumnus of North Carolina A&T State University. The Symposium, an integral component of the Celebration, will provide undergraduate and faculty scholars the opportunity to present research findings, hear and view cutting edge research findings; engage in meaningful dialogues; and network with other scholars and graduate school representatives while celebrating the life and achievements of Dr. Ronald E. McNair.

Symposium Features

  • Graduate/Professional School Fair, which will feature the country's top graduate schools.
  • Networking Opportunities - Students will be able to interact with other scholars and graduate/professional school representatives.
  • Presentations - Scholars will present research findings and be exposed to the best minds in the frontiers of research education in the United States.
  • Publications - Scholars will have their research published in the Celebration/Symposium Program Booklet.

Who May Present
Student and Faculty Scholars who have conducted research and presented their findings in poster or oral format are invited to make presentations. All presenters must submit their ABSTRACTS for inclusion in the Program Proceedings with their name, faculty mentor, and institution via email.

What are the Costs?
Registration fees include the cost for participation in all sessions, the Symposium Program Booklet, conference materials, and indicated meals.

Participant and Graduate School Registration

  • Early bird Registration - $175.00 until December 3, 2007
  • General Pre-Registration - $200.00 until January 16, 2008
  • General/On-Site Registration - $250.00
