Prerequisite
and Co-requisite
Checking
A course
which is
designed as a
prerequisite to
another course
indicates that
the prerequisite
is required
before taking
the next course.
Prerequisites
are indicated in
the online
Undergraduate
Bulletin.
Students may
pre-register for
a course that
required a
prerequisite if
the student is
enrolled in the
prerequisite
course at the
time of early
registration.
Once the final
grade has been
submitted for
the course and
the student has
not passed the
prerequisite,
the course will
be dropped from
the students'
schedule.
A co-requisite course is a specific course that must be taken simultaneously with another course. Prerequisite and co-requisite courses are indicated for any course offered at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University on the online catalog. Consortium students must also adhere to the catalog for the prerequisite and co-requisite checking.
