All cars parked or operated on University property must have a valid parking permit. Students may purchase parking permits at the time of registration in the Parking Service Office located in the parking deck, 102 Laurel Street. Any vehicle parked on University property other than metered spaces, must display a valid North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University parking permit. The office is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. All permits expire on August 31st of the year indicated on the permit. The parking fees for the each semester can be found on the Parking Services fees website.
North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University has adopted a traffic and parking program to create an orderly traffic flow and excellent parking conditions on the campus. To save time and unnecessary expense, familiarize yourself with the rules.
As of fall 2008, freshmen are not allowed to have cars on campus. If a second semester freshman has an overall GPA of 3.20, they will be able to bring a car on campus. Freshman students who live off campus will be permitted to purchase a commuter parking pass. All questions should be directed to the Parking Services Office at 336-285-2027.
