All (including repeated
courses) semester hours
attempted and
quality points
earned are used
to compute the
Honors overall grade
point average. Honor Students are
determined based on the most current
overall GPAs.
Undergraduate candidates who
complete all requirements for their
degree, have a least a 3.00 GPA
(including repeated courses) and who have earned a minimum
of 60 percent of their credit hours
at North Carolina Agricultural and
Technical State University receive
the following honors:
Cum Laude - cumulative grade point
average of a 3.00 to 3.24
Magna Cum Laude - cumulative grade
point average of a 3.24 to 3.49
Summa Cum Laude - cumulative grade
point average of a 3.50 to 4.00
