Financial Aid Termination
Satisfactory Academic Progress is reviewed at the end of each spring semester. Students who do not meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress standards are not eligible for further financial aid including summer school. Students will be notified by the Office of Student Financial Aid of their financial aid ineligibility at the end of the spring semester via an email to their University's email address and/or by a letter to their permanent home mailing address.
Students whose financial aid is terminated must remove their academic deficiencies or have an appeal granted before aid can be reinstated. Students who withdraw from a course or courses after the drop/add period, receive all F's for the semester or a grade of incomplete may not meet the SAP requirements and have their financial aid terminated.
Student's who receive all F's for the Semester
The Student Financial Aid Office is required to adjust financial aid for students who receive all F's and it is determined that the student stopped attending classes prior to the mid-point of the semester. Students are expected to attend all classes. Students whose aid has been adjusted must pay the balance in full before they are allowed to continue their enrollment at the University.
