Financial Aid Deadlines
Students must have a completed FAFSA on file in the Student Financial Aid Office in order to receive consideration for federal or state assistance. Financial Aid is Not An Automatic Process. Applicants must reapply for financial aid each year. Students should apply for financial aid immediately after January 1st of any academic year. To ensure processing of an award prior to registration, a completed FAFSA form along with requested documents must be on file in the Office of Student Financial Aid no later than July 1. The Office of Student Financial Aid priority filing deadline date is March 15th of each year. A separate application is required for Summer School. A Financial aid award will not be made until a student is admitted to the University therefore, it is important that the admissions process be completed as soon as possible. Any student who is admitted to the University as a 'Special or Non-Degree Seeking' student is not eligible to receive financial assistance unless he or she is working on completing Teacher Certification.
