Summary
As you can see, educational records are all around us. Each of us needs to do our part to keep this information secure, and protect student rights. These records are for the student and for staff and faculty who have a legitimate educational interest.

If there is any question in your mind regarding any request for educational record information, it is always better not to give the information at that time, and call the office that maintains that portion of the educational record and ask for guidance.
