What are parental rights under FERPA?
FERPA gives certain rights to parents regarding their childrens educational records. These rights transfer to the student when student reaches the age of 18, or when student attends a school beyond the secondary level.

How can a parent access student information?
Parent can have access only if the student is willing to release the information to them. The student must fill out a Permission To Release Student Records Form, which may be obtained in the Office of the Registrar.
