Students enrolled
in a mix of distance
learning courses and
on-campus courses
will be charged for
distance courses in
addition to the
charge for on-campus
courses. For
example, if a
student is enrolled
in 9 hours of
on-campus courses
and 6 hours of
distance, the
billing statement
will reflect charges
for 9 hours assessed
at the on-campus
rate plus charges
for 6 hours assessed
at the distance
learning rate. If a
student is enrolled
in 12 hours of
on-campus courses
and 3 hours of
distance courses,
the billing
statement will
reflect charges for
12 hours at the
on-campus rate plus
charges for 3 hours
assessed at the
distance rate.
If a student is
enrolled only in
distance courses,
all courses will be
assessed according
to the distance
learning rates. If a
student is enrolled
only in on-campus
courses, all courses
will be assessed
according to the
on-campus rates. In
order to benefit
from the cap on
full-time campus
rates, you must be
enrolled in at least
12 hours on-campus
(9 hours for
graduate students)
and not be enrolled
in any distance
learning courses.
This policy is in
compliance with the
tuition and fees
policy set forth in
the UNC Policy
Manual.
Payment of
tuition, fee, room
and board charges
are due on or before
January 4, 2010
