Student User Guide For Blackboard

Blackboard is North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University's campus wide E-Learning platform.  With this tool, you can manage your class assignments, communicate with classmates and collaborate with instructors and fellow students online.

How Do I Login To Blackboard? Open http://www.ncat.edu  Put your cursor on CURRENT STUDENT and select the link to Blackboard.  Input your user name (NCAT email name) and password (NCAT email password).  Entry must be in lower case.  Click LOGIN.  You must be registered for classes, validated (paid), and have a valid North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University email address to access Blackboard.  Blackboard access will be activated within 24 to 48 hours after validation.

The minimum requirements for Blackboard are:

• Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher
• Office 2000
• Powerpoint 2000
• North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University email account
• Abode Acrobat 5 Reader or higher
• Zip utility like WinZip

Two criteria for Blackboard access:

• Registered
• Enrolled (tuition and fees paid)
