Peggy Oliphant, M.S. serves as
the Director of Veteran and
Disability Support Services.
Ms. Oliphant received her undergraduate degree from Bennett College and her masters’ degree from North Carolina A&T State University. She has worked at the University for 28 years, the last 15 in the field of veteran and disability. Ms. Oliphant is a member of numerous local, state and national professional organizations.

Sarah “Penny” Torrence is the University Certifying Official.
She is the liaison between the Veterans Administration and
North Carolina A&T State University. She has been with the State of North Carolina for 24 years and has served in this office for 2 years. Her responsibilities consist of but are not limited to certifying the students for their VA education benefits and making sure the university is in compliance with all VA guidelines and policies. |
