OIP CommitteesFaculty Advisors for Study Abroad (FASA) FASA provides support for the Office of International Programs by recruiting, reviewing applications and interviewing student candidates for study abroad, exchange, and international internships. Members include UNC-EP advisors for specific countries and faculty advisors for on campus study abroad programs. If you are interested in becoming an advisor, please contact us.
The Global Studies Committee developed the new Global Studies Certificate Program, an inter-disciplinary initiative designed to globalize the curriculum and provide students with a cohesive educational experience including study abroad. It includes two new courses developed to open and close the certificate program thereby linking the learning and international experience into analysis and critical thinking.
International Emergency Response Team (IERT) The Emergency Reponse Team develops contingency plans for addressing emergencies that may be encountered by students and faculty while abroad.
