| Comments: There is something so special about the Aggie Spirit. You can see the excitement in the eyes of the students, faculty, and the Greensboro Community. It is a time that we take to reflect the long journey of achievement and refresh our memory of the way the campus use to be. With all the changes there is nothing like being on the campus to witness the behavior of great people showing their love for one another. It is a time that all pains and ailments are forgotten. Their is so much love shown to friends and visitors. The campus is always prepared for this great event. From the great food, old and new friends, solid entertainment, and a great school grounded in excellence there is nothing like a North Carolina A&T State University Homecoming. This tradition has a feature of being sacred. It is on the grounds of this great institution that everlasting friendships are made and restored. The event of "Homecoming" impact the Greensboro Community in a Social, Political, Economic, and Global sense. The Millons of Dollars that are spent here impact the local economy in so many ways. There is really only one "Homecoming" on Earth and it is at North Carolina A&T State University once a year. It is a legacy that will live forever. I am proud to be an Alumnus and a faculty member of this great institution. Of course I will see old friends and seek out some of my current students to show them examples of what great Aggies are doing. May God Bless All of You that attend this great event in 2008. I would like to Welcome the new Chancellor Dr. Battle and his family to a great school and community. |

| Comments: As a proud graduate I enjoy returning to campus on Homecoming to reunite with old friends and to
see the changes on campus. It is great to see how the campus has grown physically. I am most proud of the University's academic growth in terms of degree offerings, research and national ranking
in the enineering programs. It is also great to know that the University continues to attract some
of the brightest young minds from across the nation. It is great to see the continuing growth
of the enrollment year after year. This certainly is a testament to how well respected the University is not only among other HBCUs but by
all colleges and universities across the nation.
A&T continue to make me proud!!! AGGIE PRIDE !!! |
