Judy and I want to thank faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends for your warm expressions of welcome. We have been overwhelmed by the genuine support. It is truly something we have never experienced in our lives. We are excited about working with all of you and look forward to personal contact over the coming months.

The work that must be completed at North Carolina A&T is serious but our progress has been excellent. As Chancellor I will challenge each of you because we cannot ignore our responsibilities to this institution. The only thing I ask is for each one of you to stay positive and continue to treat the institution with respect.
