| Comments: Chancellor and First Lady Battle, on further behalf of all current & perspective students and Alumni who call Durham, NC home, I'd like to say welcome to what many of us call the first place to ever give us a true chance to succeed. As you may see now, A&T means so much to all of us: For me, a place of happiness, the ticket to my greatness, and a family. As an Alum of the Prestigious School of Business and Economics (BA Dept.), I look forward to seeing how you build on our University's many resources: bright/intelligent students, resourceful professors, and proud/successful Alumni, in keeping us on top of schools near and far that are actively seeking to duplicate NC A&T's success and ideas. Please strongly consider allocating the available funds for the enhancement of our Football and Basketball programs. Around here, we've conquered most academic acheivements of our HBCU counterparts, but we must tear their wings off athletically!!! AGGIE PRIDE! |

| Comments: Dear Dr. & Mrs. Battle
Your opening remarks on August 15 were just wonderful -- like a breath of "fresh air"; I especially appreciated your song and was pleased that you unashamedly declared your faith without offending non-believers.
Just a word about myself: I have been a faculty member here in the department of Foreign Languages (I teach German) for 31 years, and your remarks were the best I have heard in all the 31 years I have attended those opening ceremonies. Thank you for coming here and agreeing to take on a very difficult task. Please know that my husband and I are praying for you and your family because I know that you have much work and an uphill way which you must go. God bless you and may our Lord Jesus Christ fill you with His power and wisdom to do all that needs to be done. In German we say "Gottbefohlen" which means "God bless" -- B.E.Archibald, Ph.D. Foreign Languages Department. |

| Comments: Congratulations Chancellor Battle!
Your selection as A&T's chancellor is AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME! I am so PROUD of you!
North Carolina A&T, the immediate area surrounding the university campus, the State of North Carolina, the region, the nation, and even the world, is in for a rare treat.
Your vision, passion for excellence, and attention to all the little details that count for success, will enhance and benefit not only the lives of the students, faculty and staff there, but the university as a whole.
Your ability to sell will position A&T in the mind of the many publics you serve as the place to earn a world-class education.
I see that you are still one of the best-dressed men in America.
God's speed be with every step you take at A&T, my friend.
One Love. One Heart.
Your friend,
Dwight Bachman

| Comments: Welcome to the Aggie Promise Land. May we all remember "Beloved, now are we the children of God, but it does not yet appear what we shall be. But when He who is perfect is come, we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is. Any person who has this hope within himself purifies himself even as He is Pure". My support is there to help us be what we should and shall be. |
