North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University
Chancellor Stanley F. Battle announced three senior appointments
on Friday, August 3, 2007, during a retreat for the Board of
Trustees. The appointees are Dr. Janice G. Brewington, provost
and vice chancellor for academic affairs; Dr. Mark Kiel, vice
chancellor for development and university relations; and Vijay
Verma, vice chancellor for information technology and telecommunications
(ITT) and chief information officer.
“This is our first wave of Senior Cabinet announcements with more to come,” Battle said. “These seasoned professionals have extraordinary backgrounds, experiences and expertise. They have already provided strength for North Carolina A&T State University in the areas they lead. We are thankful to have them as part of our senior leadership team.”
Battle said the appointments were approved July 1, 2007.
