North Carolina A&T State University Galleries seeks

VOLUNTEERS!

We seek energetic and responsible individuals to become part of our volunteer team. This is a very exciting time for the museum, as well as for the university. Your help will create a place for learning, unity, and enjoyment by all who walk through its doors. Listed below are some areas where you can perform as a volunteer:

Docent
Do you have excellent communication skills? Do you enjoy talking about art and possess a warm personality? This is a great opportunity to interact with a variety of audiences from school children to adults as an ambassador for the Galleries.

Event Planning
Do you enjoy organizing events? The gallery has several functions throughout the year in which you can put your skills in event planning and preparation to use for the cause of art.

Object Registration
Volunteers are needed to photograph, inventorying, and research objects in the permanent collection in preparation for exhibitions.

Preparator (Art Handling/Exhibition Design)
As an assistant exhibition designer, you will develop skills in proper handling, arranging and display of art work.

Graphic and Web Design
Are you a good artist? We are in need of individuals are skilled at desktop publishing and web design.

Other Activities
Volunteers may also assist in other activities where their talents can be further utilized to benefit the museum. So contact us today!
