Who do I contact to receive information concerning program of studies for specific content area?

Who will be my advisor?

Advisors are assigned by the area department.  The Content Coordinator will begin as your advisor and assign you to an advisor in the department.   (Back to Top)

How do I apply to the MAT Program?

You must complete a Graduate School application.  Graduate applications may be completed online (www.ncat.edu) or obtained from the Graduate School.  Applications must be completed in its entirety.  (Back to Top)

How many hours can be taken during a semester?

Six hours are recommended, however a maximum of nine hours can be taken per semester.  (Back to Top)

Is there any financial aid or scholarships for Graduate Students?

Information concerning financial aid or scholarships for tuition may be acquired by contacting the Financial Aid Department at 334-7973.  The office is located on the first (1st) floor of the Dowdy Administration Building. (Back to Top)

What times are classes offered during the semester?

The program is designed for the non-traditional candidate that may or may not have full time employment.  Class times are usually 6:00 p.m. until 8:50 p.m. and one (1) night during the fall and spring semesters.  Summer session classes vary by time and how often the class will meet. (Back to Top)

Are any of the classes offered online?

At this time, there are very few classes that are offered online.  Check with the individual departments for online class availability.  (Back to Top)
