Important Information: A minimum of 71 hours must be outside Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and must be in liberal arts and sciences. A minimum grade point average of 3.0 in Communication Sciences and Disorders and 2.7 overall is required.
Suggested Outside Classroom Activities: National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA), National Black Association for Speech, Language, and Hearing (NBASLH), The North Carolina Speech, Hearing and Language Association and The American Academy of Audiology, Honors Program with a grade point average of 3.5, research internship in affiliation with the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute (FPG) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH), attending and presenting at national conferences associated with the field of speech-language pathology, and graduate school site visits.
